CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – More snow was forecasted for Sunday night, with it expected to mainly hit Northeast Ohio’s snowbelt, but ODOT officials are more focused on a system set to hit the area Monday night.
Public Information Officer Amanda McFarland told Fox 8 on Sunday that the overnight snow, mainly affecting Geauga, Lake and Ashtabula Counties, wasn’t expected to be too great and wouldn’t impact the Monday morning commute.

However, a weather system moving in from the west that’s expected to hit Monday night is where their focus currently lies.
“It’s expected to begin in the evening hours of Monday and has the potential to impact that Tuesday morning commute with several inches of snow starting Monday night and all throughout the morning on Tuesday,” McFarland said. “Hopefully breaking up around noon time, but we all know how the lake effect snow machine operates and it could stick around a little bit longer for us on Tuesday.”…
