Backed by $25 million from Haslam Sports Group (HSG), according to David Gilbert, President & CEO of Destination Cleveland, the vision for the lakefront is expected to be a “generational transformation” that offers new opportunities for housing, recreation, and employment. The passage of this settlement has seemingly opened the doors for a future wrapped in vibrant, accessible locales that Mayor Bibb believes will reconnect inhabitants and travelers to Lake Erie, as expressed by Scott Skinner, Executive Director of North Coast Waterfront Development Corporation.
