Thieves break into about 30 cars at Cleveland churches during Sunday services

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Police are investigating a wave of vehicle break-ins that targeted worshippers at three Cleveland churches on Sunday, damaging about 30 cars.

Officers responded about 10:35 a.m. to St. Stephen Catholic Church at 1920 W. 54th St., where about 20 vehicles had their windows broken. Thieves stole items from six of those cars.

Church members declined to comment on the incident…
