Maple Heights, OH. – As election 2025 comes to an end, some cities are preparing to get their house in order. They have members of the Council retiring, some remaining, while others are moving on to other positions. And as they count down to the first of the year to adhere to their City’s charter, specific situations must occur, such as conducting interviews for new Council members, making appointments, and preparing for swearing-in ceremonies. A certain time frame must meet all of the above, or as one would jokingly say, before the clock strikes 12 am.
