Ohio to distribute 18 million to homeless shelters

CLEVELAND — In December, Ohio’s Department of Development announced it would distribute over $18 million through its homeless crisis response program.

In a press release, the Department of Development said, “Funds will assist 52 nonprofits and local governmental agencies across the state with homeless prevention, rapid re-housing and emergency shelter services… to benefit an estimated 25,222 Ohioans.”

The YWCA of Greater Cleveland received approximately $192,000 in grant funds…
