How do Cleveland’s parking rates compare to peer cities?

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Parking on Cleveland’s streets will become more expensive and will be enforced more often in 2026. Compared with other major cities, the changes put Cleveland somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Starting in January, paid street parking in Cleveland will cost $1.50 per hour, with drivers allowed to park for up to four hours at escalating rates — $1.50 for the first and second hours, $3 for the third hour and $4.50 for the fourth — for a total of $10.50.
