One of the most legendary weddings in Cleveland’s history, the marriage of entertainers George Burns and Gracie Allen, will mark its 100th anniversary on Jan. 7, 2026.
“Legendary,” however, is a two-sided coin: (a) It’s something that makes an enduring impression in popular memory; but (b), It’s something that may have a cloudy basis in historical reality.
