A woman in Ohio says she narrowly avoided a terrifying close call after a car slammed into her home early Christmas morning — and then sped away.
Yomayra Morales told Cleveland 19 that she and her husband were in bed around 3 a.m. local time on Thursday, Dec. 25, when they heard a loud crash and felt the impact. When they went outside, she said they found their front porch badly damaged, along with their car and trash cans.
Security camera video captured the moment a car raced down the street in Morales’ suburban neighborhood, jumped the sidewalk and plowed into the house before leaving the scene.
