WESTLAKE, Ohio (WJW) — A bold shoplifting suspect, who stole thousands of dollars’ worth of beauty products from a local store, was arrested after his getaway ended in a crash.
It was just before noon on December 27 that surveillance cameras captured video of a man in the gray hoodie and black jacket going on a shopping spree at the Ulta Beauty store on Detroit Road in Westlake.

He appeared to speaking with someone on his cell phone, but when the coast was clear, he ducked down, pulled out a large garbage bag, put on a mask and began stuffing the bag with beauty products.
Westlake Police Captain Jerry Vogel told Fox 8 News, “It’s brazen criminal activity, he doesn’t care, he’s there to shoplift. He’s grabbing straighteners, curlers, and things like that, high end hair products.”…
