Ground stop lifted at Cleveland airport after threat

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland Hopkins International Airport temporarily grounded flights Wednesday.

According to an airport spokesperson, a ground stop was issued starting at 1:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, because of a “potential security threat specific to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.”
