CLEVELAND (WJW) – A suspect has been arrested after a 38-year-old mother was shot in the face when a robbery escalated to a carjacking with her one-year-old son, the Cleveland Division of Police announced Saturday.
According to a press release from the Cleveland police, a 47-year-old man was located inside a home in the east side of Cleveland. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cuyahoga County Jail.

The suspect is currently being held pending charges related to attempted murder and aggravated robbery, the release said.
