When Brandon Chrostowski relocated and consolidated his Edwins restaurants into the Nighttown property in Cleveland Heights, he left two vacancies at Shaker Square. One of those spaces – the former Edwins Too spot – officially has a new tenant.
Akin Affrica, the operator behind Zanzibar Soul Fusion, Cleveland Breakfast Club, The Vegan Club and multiple Angie’s Soul Café locations, states that he is adding a new restaurant to his Soul Republic Hospitality Group.
Affrica is partnering with Cleveland Browns legend Josh Cribbs to open Sazani Oceana (13220 Shaker Sq.), a contemporary full-service seafood restaurant. The former Edwins Too (and Fire Food and Drink) space is receiving a complete makeover that will include new booths, lighting, paint and restrooms.
