CLEVELAND (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has found a man now indicted for an encounter with Cleveland police that led to officers firing shots.
Cleveland police confronted a suspected burglar, saying he was armed with a pickaxe and a crowbar. Officers fired a taser, and they fired gunshots. The suspect was not injured.
The encounter happened in November near the West Side Market. Police said they found Seton Maxey trying to break into a store. Police said he kept moving toward officers and refused to drop the weapons.
