Man shot and injured by law enforcement after nearly hour-long pursuit

A 38-year-old man was shot and injured Tuesday night by police officers and deputies after he led them on a chase that lasted nearly an hour, according to Cleveland Police.

Around 9 p.m., police were notified of two carjackings on West 150th Street, and while attempting to locate the alleged suspect, two more reports of carjackings were made, Cleveland Police Chief Annie Todd said during a press conference on Wednesday morning.
