New ownership sparks an authentic revival

The nearly 30-year-old Number One Pho restaurant underwent a significant transition after sisters Maya and Heidi Mai took over the business last August. While the name and location at 3120 Superior Avenue remain, the sisters have embarked on a mission to transform the restaurant’s menu and reputation.
