Cuyahoga County shuts down buildings early amid dangerous cold and snow

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Most Cuyahoga County buildings closed as of 2:30 p.m. today due to extreme weather conditions from the winter storm, according to a news release.

County officials reminded residents that extreme cold and snowy conditions can become dangerous quickly and encouraged people to follow guidelines from their local municipalities regarding winter weather.

Anyone seeking shelter should contact United Way 211 or visit the county’s Extreme Cold webpage. Residents are also encouraged to check in on seniors and those living at risk or needing assistance…
