Cuyahoga County upgraded to Level 2 snow emergency as dangerous conditions worsen

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cuyahoga County Sheriff Harold Pretel has elevated the county to a Level 2 Snow Emergency due to heavy snowfall and dangerous driving conditions, according to a news release.

Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and may be very icy, with officials advising that only those who feel it is necessary to drive should do so.

The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory and a Winter Storm Warning through Monday. A major winter storm is currently impacting a large portion of the country, with a high probability of heavy snow and prolonged cold temperatures extending through next week…
