CLEVELAND — A Cuyahoga County corrections officer has been arrested on federal charges tied to allegedly possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute inside the county jail, authorities said.
The case was investigated by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department Jail Investigators Unit, Narcotics Unit and Internal Affairs Unit. According to a statement from the county, the officer was originally arrested in April 2025 on state drug trafficking charges.
