Residents in crisis: Tenants at Park 85 apartments in Cleveland say they’re living without heat, hot water, lights

CLEVELAND — Residents at a Cleveland apartment complex say they have been living in dangerous and unsanitary conditions for weeks — some without heat, hot water, or electricity — and they claim management has failed to fix the problems.

Tenants at the Park 85 apartments near East 85th Street and Superior Avenue say they are at their breaking point, and are now calling on city leaders to step in. The concerns came to 3News after one resident showed up at our studios, telling us she had spent nearly all of her money staying in a hotel because her apartment had no heat or hot water.

“I had $12 left,” she told 3News.
