CLEVELAND — Cleveland police arrested a 39-year-old man early Tuesday after a standoff at a home on the city’s southeast side that prompted a SWAT response, according to officials.
In a statement, the Cleveland Division of Police says Fourth District officers were called to the 11700 block of Harvard Avenue at about 9:50 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of shots fired and a man threatening a woman with a firearm, police said.
Officers arrived to the home in the city’s Corlett neighborhood and were able to safely assist the woman out of the residence. Police confirmed the man inside was armed, but he refused repeated commands to exit the home…
