17-year-old accused of killing teen at Cleveland deli indicted by Cuyahoga County grand jury

CLEVELAND — Royal King, the 17-year-old boy accused of killing 17-year-old Jahari Stegall at the 185th Deli in Cleveland, has been indicted by a grand jury in Cuyahoga County.

According to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court records, Royal was indicted on the following charges on Feb. 10:

  • 1 count of aggravated murder
  • 2 counts of murder
  • 2 counts of felonious assault
  • 1 count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle
  • 1 count of carrying concealed weapons

His arraignment hearing is set for Feb. 26 at 8:30 a.m.
