OHIO — A Northfield woman is celebrating a $250,000 lottery win after a series of small delays led her to purchase a winning scratch-off ticket.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the woman had saved several winning scratch-off tickets and went to a grocery store to cash them in. She planned to use her $25 in winnings to buy more tickets, but decided to leave when the ticket machine was occupied and taking too long.
While driving home, she stopped at Sagamore Quik Check, located at 263 W. Aurora Road in Northfield, because of its ticket selection. She inserted a $20 bill into the machine and purchased several tickets, but the machine would not accept her wrinkled $5 bill…
