CLEVELAND, Ohio — Negotiations to bring a manufacturer to the I-X Center appear to have fallen apart, city officials acknowledged on Friday, leaving no clear future for the building after events stop taking place this spring.
Both Industrial Commercial Properties and Industrial Realty Group, the companies who jointly lease city-owned International Exposition Center, remain silent. But Cleveland’s Chief of Integrated Development Tom McNair said conversation with those companies has become sparse, and City Hall’s assumption is that the deal has fizzled out.
