CLEVELAND (WJW) — An Iranian immigrant who remade her life in Northeast Ohio is celebrating the death of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“It’s like waking up from a nightmare, from almost a 50-year-old nightmare,” Mahtab Tehrani said.

Khamenei was killed in a coordinated airstrike carried out by the United States and Israel on Feb. 28.
“My people, Iranians have been fighting for a long time,” Tehrani said. “And now, we feel like we’re being heard and someone has come to our help — that being the President of the United States.”…
