Harvard Avenue Horror: 25-Year-Old Woman Gunned Down In Union-Miles

A 25-year-old woman was shot and killed Friday evening in Cleveland’s Union-Miles neighborhood, a deadly burst of gunfire that rattled a busy East Side corridor, police said.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the area of East 136th Street and Harvard Avenue. Officers responding to the scene detained one person and recovered a firearm while detectives worked the block for evidence.

According to Cleveland 19 News, investigators have released few details as they process the scene and interview witnesses. The outlet reports the victim was 25 years old, and that authorities have not announced a possible motive or any charges.
