CLEVELAND — The Saint Baldrick’s “Shave it off” event returned to University Hospitals for the 15th time on Friday.
“For the last 15 years we’ve been gathering together to shave heads to support childhood cancer research. It’s pretty incredible. Over that time we’ve raised over $1 million,” said Michelle Rothstein, one of the lead organizers for the event. She said people keep coming back because it’s a fun, supportive atmosphere.
“It’s really fun to go green,” she said. “You don’t have to shave your head or cut your hair to participate.”…
