Three fires in five days in Willowick

WILLOWICK, Ohio — Three separate fires broke out in Willowick over a five-day period last week, causing a combined estimate of $263,000 in damage, according to the Willowick Fire Department.

The first fire was reported at 12:28 p.m. on March 10 on East 329th Street, where flames were contained to wiring and insulation in a basement. Damage was estimated at $8,000. No injuries were reported.

Less than an hour later, at 1:20 p.m., crews were dispatched to a garage fire on East 323rd Street. Firefighters arrived to find the structure fully involved. The fire did not spread to any neighboring buildings, and no injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $55,000…
