North Olmsted woman charged with attempted murder after shooting boyfriend, police say

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — A 43-year-old North Olmsted woman is facing an attempted murder charge after police say she shot her boyfriend in an early morning incident March 17.

Officers responded around 2:10 a.m. to the area of Butternut Ridge and Fitch Roads after multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunshots. Dispatch then received a call from a woman who said she accidentally shot her boyfriend.

After arriving on scene, police immediately began administering first aid to a man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital with life-threatening injuries…
