Ohio Man Admits To Violent Stun Gun Attack On Amish Family During Failed Kidnapping

An Ohio man has admitted his role in a 2019 home invasion where a stun gun was used against an Amish father and his 8-year-old son. Bradford Hosler, 33, pleaded guilty on Monday, March 16, to charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

The plea deal, recorded in Geauga County Common Pleas Court, resulted in the dismissal of one additional aggravated robbery count and two kidnapping charges.

The case stems from an October 2019 incident in Middlefield Township. According to investigators, Hosler led a group that stormed an Amish home and business, specifically targeting the family for cash.
