Back in October 2024, the Best of Cleveland team ordered and ranked 20 Philly cheesesteak sandwiches from national chains with Northeast Ohio locations. Our mission? Find out which fast-food versions were worth the money — and which ones might leave you wishing you had ordered something else.
To keep things fair, every sandwich was ordered exactly as it appears on the menu — no extras, no swaps, no secret hacks. Just steak, cheese, bread and whatever toppings the chain decided belonged on its version of a Philly classic.
