Former local detective indicted for dozens of alleged crimes: prosecutor

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Former acting East Cleveland Police Chief Kenneth Lundy has been indicted on dozens of crimes he allegedly committed as a law enforcement officer, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.

The announcement comes about eight months after the FOX 8 I-Team reported the acting police chief had been fired by the mayor. In a letter at the time, the mayor said Lundy had not been properly hired.
