CLEVELAND — Rounds of strong and severe storms rolled through NEO Tuesday evening with damaging winds, tornado warnings, hail, and heavy rain. While the worst of the storms has passed, pockets of heavy rain will continue to be possible through Wednesday morning. Additionally, heavy rain is expected into the afternoon, with some communities seeing repeated rounds of heavy rain that could lead to flash flooding. Use EXTREME caution on the roads due to the risk of flooded roads.
Rain will continue on and off on Wednesday, with temperatures falling. It will be getting colder quickly from north to south on Wednesday morning. Most of the day will be chilly and wet with below-average temperatures. Thankfully, the cooldown is brief. We’re back in the 60s and possibly 70s late week with more on-and-off rain & storm chances Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Strong storms are not off the table either!
