New motions filed in case of Cleveland attorney accused of killing his client, Aliza Sherman

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Several new motions have been filed by the lawyer for the former Cleveland divorce attorney accused of killing his client, Aliza Sherman.

Gregory Moore, 52, has a pre-trial scheduled for April 9 and his trial is set for Sept. 14.

Moore’s attorney recently filed paperwork asking for:

  • All search warrants and affidavits related to Sanford Sherman.
  • Is challenging the truthfulness/legitimacy of statements used to obtain search warrant(s) for Moore
  • Requesting disclosure of all prior grand jury testimony given against Moore, any testimony pertaining to other suspects including Sanford Sherman, and any testimony of witnesses not available for trial.
  • Requesting court suppress numerous items of evidence, including cell tower data, Geofence data, allegedly unlawfully obtained statements, and personal items belonging to Moore.
