CLEVELAND — The end of an era is approaching for one of Cleveland’s historic Catholic Churches.
Immaculate Conception Parish on Superior Avenue will close through an “extinctive union” with the nearby Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
“It’s very emotional. It’s very sad that a change like that occurs,” said Father Frank Godic, of Immaculate Conception. “But loss is a part of life and we have to adjust to the realities of life.”…
