EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) – Euclid police and Euclid Animal Control officers were stunned to find a dog so badly neglected that her body was covered in sores.
“I was shocked,” said Euclid Police Capt. Dave Olszewski. “Probably the worst condition I have seen throughout my career.”
The dog, that animal control officers have named Xenia, was found left in someone’s yard Monday. She is about 2 years old and weighs only 19 pounds.
