BEDFORD, Ohio (WJW) – The most costly damage from the powerful storm that swept across the region on Wednesday, will likely be at car dealerships across Northeast Ohio that were pounded by the unforgiving hail.
Ken Ganley Subaru on the Bedford Auto Mile was among the dealerships pelted by waves of ice pellets.
“It started as like a rain, almost like a sleet and then came this just crazy noise like a freight train and it was just a downpour of something I’ve never seen before,” Ken Ganley Subaru general manager Tim Nadvit said. “Giant hail pieces the size of golf balls plus.”
