BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) — An elderly man was arrested and charged after police said he shot another man in a Bainbridge Township park last week.
Bainbridge Township Police said they were called to Centerville Mills Park last Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. for reports of a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, police said they found a man with a 55-year-old man with a gunshot wound. An officer reportedly pulled over a man who was driving in the park. He was identified as the suspect.
Police said they took 80-year-old Emmanuel Matthews into custody for the shooting.
The victim’s wife said Matthews shot her husband after a political exchange took place between the two strangers. She said her husband is still in the hospital and may need spinal surgery following the shooting…
