(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Several drivers were issued citations on Saturday night, June 20, after police received calls about racing and reckless driving, leading to the discovery of a car meet with around 100 vehicles, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSPD reported that at around 11 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to calls regarding racing and reckless driving in multiple locations around the area. Officers found the group of about 100 vehicles trespassing in a parking lot in the 3100 block of Powers Boulevard, near South Carefree Circle.
Officers observed reckless driving behavior and drinking in the parking lot and cited 19 people for trespassing, according to CSPD. One traffic citation was issued…
