TUESDAY NIGHT: Severe thunderstorms have already fired off for the Pikes Peak Region with large hail bigger than 1″ of diameter. More severe storms are expected into the late evening. Things will ramp up pas the 10 PM timeframe for the I-25 corridor through 2 AM. Main threats include 1-3.5″ hail, gusty winds up the 70 MPH, flash flooding and even an isolated tornado.

WEDNESDAY: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch expires at 1 AM on Wednesday. Strong to severe storms are possible for the plains and the HWY 50 corridor on Wednesday morning through about 8 AM. The rest of Wednesday morning will be nice ahead of more strong storms Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday evening. Threats will include large hail and strong winds again.
