DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – UPDATE: The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the wildfire is held at about three acres and is now 50 percent contained as of about 9 a.m. Monday.
Douglas County deputies said firefighters are operating in steep, rugged terrain with limited access for ground crews, making firefighting efforts “especially challenging.”
