An adult male drowned Friday at Eleven Mile Reservoir.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Hartsel Fire Protection District, South Park Ambulance District and Park County Sheriff’s Office responded around 3:40 p.m. Friday to a water rescue involving two men who had fallen off a shared paddleboard, CPW said in a Saturday news release.
One of the men was rescued by a “good Samaritan,” CPW said and treated on scene and released. The other man’s body was recovered in the reservoir around 10:45 p.m. after hours of searching with sonar by CPW’s Marine Evidence Recovery Team and the Colorado Springs Fire Department’s Dive Rescue team…
