More storms this Sunday evening

  • Severe storms and flooding tonight
  • Isolated storms tomorrow, drier Tuesday
  • Storm chances return for end of week

SUNDAY NIGHT: Tracking another round of storms later this evening, but will not be as severe as the storms we saw this afternoon. Lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.

MONDAY: Temperatures will be warmer in the 80s and 90s. Chance for isolated thunderstorms in the southern I-25 corridor in the afternoon and then in the Pike’s Peak region in the evening. Severe potential is low, but some light hail (up to half an inch) may be possible in stronger storm cells. The risk for flash flooding remains, but will be lower due to lighter rainfall amounts.

TUESDAY: Temperatures warm by a few more degrees, but will stay in the 80s and 90s. Conditions will also be drier with more sunshine…
