TODAY: Temperatures cool substantially to the high 80s in Colorado Springs and low 90s in Pueblo. We’re tracking increasing severe storm chances. We start with scattered storms across the mountains in the early afternoon before they push further east and strengthen along I-25 and across the plains. Our biggest concerns are flash flooding especially along burn scars, hail, gusty winds, and we cannot rule out tornadic activity which would likely be confined to the plains.
TOMORROW: Temps head back up to the low 90s in Colorado Springs and high 90s in Pueblo. We’re tracking isolated afternoon and evening showers and storms but severe weather chances look much lower than Wednesday.
