EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – A 34-year-old man died Monday following a single-motorcycle crash on westbound Highway 24 south of Cascade.
Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to the scene near milepost 295 at approximately 12:57 p.m. An initial investigation found that the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road and struck the side of a mountain, ejecting the rider. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the rider was not immediately released. The El Paso County Coroner will release his name after next-of-kin notifications are complete…
