COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) – Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs will now be known as Children’s Hospital Colorado, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Colorado Springs.
The name change comes after a $40 million dollar gift from Tom Golisano expanding care for children and families in Southern Colorado. The hospital says it also joined the Golisano Children’s Alliance, a national initiative that helps pediatric healthcare.
The announcement came during an event in front of the hospital on Thursday.
