Colorado state leaders work to tackle homelessness

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — State and local leaders gathered in Colorado Springs for a statewide homelessness forum focused on improving service delivery and prevention strategies across Colorado.

More than 350 attendees from across the state participated in the collaborative event.

Evan Caster, Deputy Division Director for the Division of Housing at the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, said attendance at the forum more than doubled compared to the previous year. The gathering brought together subject matter experts to discuss landlord engagement, street outreach and early intervention strategies.
