COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — The Salvation Army Colorado Springs Corp is organizing a food pantry donation through October 9.
According to organizers, the “Fill the Shelves, Share the Hope” event at the Salvation Army’s Hope Market Pantry. Salvation Army says they are accepting donations of essential food items throughout the month.
The drop off started this week and will run through October 9. Salvation Army is asking for things like spices, canned meats and vegetables, cooking oils, snack bars, protein drinks and hot chocolate among other items. Anything shelf stable is also allowed…
