COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Two Colorado Springs campuses have increased their security Thursday morning in response to a threat circulating online. According to Academy District 20, the threat was made on social media late Wednesday night and mentioned two of its schools, Pine Creek High School and Chinook Trail Middle School. A spokesperson for the district told 11 News she didn’t know exactly what the reference was or the nature of the threat.
