‘I feel like Cinderella’: Colorado Springs wedding boutique helps special needs shoppers find gowns for upcoming ball

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Jackie Bernal wanted a dress like Cinderella’s. “Blue, light, a little flashy, with bling,” she told me of that dream dress. “The Tim Tebow Foundation has this ball called ‘Night to Shine’ for special needs community members 14 and up, and they get to come have a night where they get to be celebrated,” said Sophia Burgo, the general manager for Something New Boutique in Colorado Springs. “It’s happening on Feb. 9. They get to walk a red carpet, they get to dance, they get to have fun activities, and just be the kings and queens of the night.”
