(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in East Colorado Springs on Thursday, Feb. 2.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing on 1200 North Circle Drive near Uintah Street just after 6 p.m. Two men were in a verbal altercation at a local business and then separated.
The suspect later returned to the scene and engaged in a fight where he used a knife to stab the victim at least once causing serious bodily injury, according to CSPD.
The suspect ran away, and the victim was transported to the hospital, according to CSPD. No arrests have been made at this time.
